Who We Are

Who We Are

Merrimack Valley Assistance Program (MVAP) is New Hampshire’s largest HIV/AIDS Service Organization, a state-licensed Case Management Agency, and a registered Syringe Service Program. MVAP provides essential support to individuals living with HIV/AIDS across New Hampshire.

Our Mission in Action

We work to improve the health and well-being of people living with HIV and to strengthen prevention efforts through accurate information, advocacy, and partnership.

What We Do

We provide HIV care, housing assistance, harm reduction services, and prevention support; meeting people where they are and helping them stay healthy, housed, and connected to care along the way.

Prevention, Education & Testing

MVAP offers free, confidential HIV testing at our offices and in the community, making it easy to know your status and take the next step.

We also promote proven prevention strategies, like the U=U (Undetectable = Untransmittable) message, and provide education that reduces stigma, supports informed choices, and helps people stay healthy long-term.
