HIV/AIDS Service Organization
Educate. Support. Empower.
Through education, support, and empowerment, Merrimack Valley Assistance Program (MVAP) leads the approach for people living with HIV/AIDS in maintaining a high quality of life. MVAP believes in dismissing myths and stereotypes about HIV/AIDS, and in return, provide medically accurate information on preventative and treatment regimens. MVAP is staffed by knowledgeable and compassionate community members, in which we serve. Staff members of MVAP are bilingual and a part of diverse communities throughout New Hampshire. With these at our disposal, there is no client that MVAP cannot assist.
MVAP strives to prevent new HIV infections by promoting safer practices and medication adherence across our communities and the State of New Hampshire. We work diligently with HIV/AIDS service providers to increase and diversify the care in which our clients are receiving. We play an active role in affecting local, state, and national policies on civil rights, discrimination, HIV/AIDS prevention and care, education, research, and services.
MVAP is here for members of our communities.
